Objective:
The TODAY brand wanted to optimize their three hundred and thirty section fronts to be more discoverable during searches and in turn boost the search value of the content linked on those pages.
Process:
- Worked with stakeholders to define new page elements needed to improve SEO
- Advocated for the user experience while balancing the business needs
- Created numerous mocks using Sketch, making design decisions based on user knowledge
- Communicated new designs with stakeholders and secured approval
- Paired with developers to implement approved designs using HTML5 and CSS3
Outcome:
All fronts were updated with the new elements and are awaiting result impact based on these changes. TODAY is collecting data using Omniture data filtered to Search, as well as Webmaster Tools (Search Console).
