TODAY.com APP

Objective: 
TODAY.com's goal was to launch new mobile and tablet apps that would serve and grow a loyal daily audience.

Process:

• Created low-fidelity mocks using Illustrator
• Participated in UX reviews and discussions
• Designed hi-fidelity comps using Photoshop
• Produced assets for Android, iOS, and Windows 8 mobile devices
• Paired with iOS team to create article templates for content feeds using HTML and CSS
• Provided redlines and assets to both the iOS and Android developers
• Facilitated communication between the device team and the UX team

App features:

• Watch video while browsing other content at the same time with the "Multi-tasker" split screen feature
• View all hours of the TODAY broadcast and more video extras
• Customize section content to viewer's interests, from food to entertainment to news
• Share content with friends and family via Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, email and more
• Save your favorites for later with a tap
• Browse without an Internet connection; stories and images are cached and available offline
